As we kick off the new season of the Peachtree Podcast, we have some exciting news on how you can still get involved even if you haven't registered and what to expect as we get back to a more traditional Peachtree experience. Atlanta Track Club CEO Rich Kenah details plans for this year's race and gives us a behind-the-scenes perspective on Atlanta's July 4th tradition.

MEET BETSY ROSS & UNCLE SAM
Meet Paula and Reg Barnes. They've been volunteering at the Peachtree finish line as Betsy Ross and Uncle Sam since 1983. Their favorite part of July 4th? Meeting and getting to know participants as they cross the finish line. Get to know them by watching the video above. Then, check out all the other volunteer positions available. Encourage family and friends to be a part of race weekend by signing up!

YOUR CHILD'S PEACHTREE
Make this July 4 a family-filled weekend and sign your child up for the Microsoft Peachtree Junior. Held in Piedmont Park on July 3, the race features a Mile (timed) and Dash, with the Mile crossing the same 10th Street finish line as the Peachtree the next day. Cheer for your child on Sunday and then run your own race on Monday! The entire family will have a shared experience to bond over.
