EVENT DETAILS & PARKING

Date: Saturday, August 7, 2021

Location: Decatur High School (310 N McDonough St, Decatur, GA 30030)

Parking: Parking is available in public parking decks along W. Trinity Pl (Courthouse/County Deck is the closest)

MARTA:  East Lake or Decatur Station (closer stop) are a short walk to the start/finish area


EVENT SCHEDULE
  • 6:30 a.m. - Number pickup opens
  • 7:15 a.m. - Race start
  • 7:20 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. - Time slots continue every 5 minutes 
  • 8:00 a.m. - Start line closes 
  • 9:20 a.m. - Finish line closes

STEPS TO FOLLOW UPON ARRIVAL
  1. Report to number pickup - Number pickup is located outside of Decatur High School.  No one will be allowed to participate without a race number.  Please arrive at number pickup 20-25 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to allow time for getting your race number and a short walk to the start line.  There is no early race number pickup.  All numbers are to be picked up on race day starting at 6:30 a.m.
  2. Walk, run or jog to the start - The path from registration to the start will be clearly marked with "To Start" signage.
  3. Report to the start line  - Participants are asked to arrive at the start line 5-10 minutes prior to their scheduled time slot.
  4. Arrive at the start line prior to 8:00 a.m. -  The start line will close firmly at 8:00 a.m.  Any participants arriving after 8:00 a.m. will not receive a time and will be unable to run or walk on the streets due to safety concerns. 
TIME SLOT REVIEW
  • To check your time slot, log into your participant account HERE.
  • Click your registration tab and find Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta.
  • To change your time slot, click edit or view your registration.  Pick a new time slot and hit save in the bottom left corner.


COURSE & SAFETY

The course time limit for the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta is one hour and 20 minutes (20 min/mile).  Strollers, bicycles and other wheeled conveyances are prohibited from all events, including the Decatur DeKalb 4 Miler presented by Audi Atlanta, in order to ensure the safety of all participants. COVID-19 POLICY
Based on the guidelines released by the CDC on May 13, 2021, Atlanta Track Club is instituting the following COVID-19 policy at all its events and programs until further notice: 
  • Attendees who have received the COVID-19 vaccination will not be required to wear a mask.
  • Attendees who are not vaccinated or are unable to present proof of vaccination will be requested to wear a mask while not running or walking.
  • All participants to bring their own hydration on the course.
  • Attendees will be requested to maintain social distancing throughout the duration of the event.
