Drive 1.5 miles on W. McIntosh Circle to park entrance

PRINT & show this parking pass (without pass you will be charged $5)

Proceed into park and look for the Atlanta Track Club parking team in the field to the left


SWITCHING TO VIRTUAL

Participants may switch to virtual by emailing registration@atlantatrackclub.org through January 22 at 11:59 p.m. All virtual participants will need to submit their results online through the link provided. 


EVENT SCHEDULE

7:00 a.m. - Parking lot opens

7:25 a.m. - Health screening opens

7:30 a.m. - Number pickup opens

8:00 a.m. - 10K start

8:05 a.m. - Start time slots continue every five minutes

11:00 a.m. - Start line closes

12:45 p.m. - Finish line closes

STEPS TO FOLLOW UPON ARRIVAL AT EVENT

  1. Report to the Health Screening Tent - complete the Health Screening Questionnaire online within 24 hours of your start time
  2. Pick up your race number
  3. Warmup - we recommend warming up AFTER you have your temperature taken. Masks must be worn during warmup. 
  4. Report to the start line NO MORE THAN 10 MINUTES before your start time

Please note that the course at McIntosh Reserve Park is MULTI SURFACE. Please be prepared to run on grass, gravel and asphalt.

The course time limit for the Jerome Scales Southside 10K is one hour and 45 minutes (17 min/mile)
Strollers, bicycles and other wheeled conveyances are prohibited from all events, including the Jerome Scales Southside 10K, in order to ensure the safety of all participants. For further information on all policies, including a list of approved non-competitive stroller events, please see our Event & Program Policies.
2021 GRAND PRIX
Jerome Scales Southside 10K is the first event in the 2021 Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Series. For more information on the series, click here. In 2021, all awards for Grand Prix events will be vouchers to the Atlanta Track Club store. Vouchers can be accumulated and multiple can be used when making a purchase through the store. 

2021 GRAND PRIX AWARDS
The following awards will be presented to 10K in-person participants:
  • Overall male and female winners ($50.00 voucher)
  • Age graded male and female winners ($25.00 voucher)
  • Age group awards for the top three men and women in each age division (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19 then five-year increments up to 95+) ($15.00 voucher for first place, $10.00 voucher for second place, $5.00 voucher for third place)

Grand Prix awards will be emailed to all winners after the results are certified one week following the event.

Only in-person participants are eligible for awards.  
COVID PRECAUTIONS
Atlanta Track Club has adopted specific policies to ensure the safety of all participants, volunteers and staff. All in attendance are expected to comply with the following policies. Atlanta Track Club reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the venue should they not comply.

  • Scheduled start times, 25 runners per wave, every 5 minutes
  • Mask worn at all times (including warmup) but can be removed while participating in the event
  • Temperature checks upon entering the venue
  • All participants to bring their own hydration on course
  • Social distancing of 6 feet practiced throughout the venue
  • Complete the Health Screening Questionnaire within 24 hours of attending the event. Be prepared to show e-mail confirmation of completion on your phone at check-in
