Thank you for participating with us this Sunday, March 15, at the O'Hartford 5K & 10K, presented by Trinity Health Of New England Orthopedics. Please review important details below on everything needed, from logistics to perks, to make it a great race day. 11:00 AM: HMF FitKids start 11:30 AM: 5K & 10K start | ||||||
Pick up your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent if you did not receive it in the mail.The tent will be open from 10:00-11:00 AM at Trinity Health Stadium. Once you have your bib, you can pick up your custom technical shirt at the Swag tent before or after the event. Shirt sizes are limited, and can only be exchanged after the race. Please note, there is no baggage check. | ||||||
Pre/post race activities, as well as the race finish will take place inside Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford, the start line is located just outside the stadium on Huyshope Avenue. Directions Please adhere to posted parking restrictions, volunteers and staff will direct you to other available options:

The 5K and 10K will start in the same location on Huyshope Avenue (just outside of Trinity Health Stadium) and will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing. The two races will run together for 2.9 miles. Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel. Markings & Amenities:
5K COURSE MAP - Walkers welcome in the 5K! Course limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 29 minutes per mile. 10K COURSE MAP - Course limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes for the O’ Hartford 10K. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 14:30 minutes per mile. 10K runners must pass the checkpoint at the 2.9 mile mark within 45 minutes. Runners over this time will be directed to finish the 5K course. Please respect the roads and each other, and please do not litter in the gracious community hosting us. | ||||||

11:45 AM – 1:30 PM: Registered participants enjoy Bear's Smokehouse BBQ, fresh fruit and snacks, including Uncle Crumbles Granola and Lesser Evil. One complimentary New England Brewing Company craft beer for those 21+ years of age with proper ID available inside. Approx. 12:45 PM: Awards Ceremony Don't forget the costume contest! The winning costume will be selected at random and announced at race start, prize collection will be at the Awards tent after the race. | ||||||

Preliminary results are available onsite/online in real time and are based on NET time (timing mats at the start and finish) by Bay State Race Services using the B-Tag timing system. Please wear your race bib with timing chip on the front of your shirt. Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS | ||||||

Online kids' race registration is available through race morning, with on-site registration and bib pickup at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent. Kids aged 2-11 can run ¼ mile or ½ mile races, all kids races are $12. All participants receive a finisher's medal and custom swag. All HMF FitKids Runs will start and finish at the 5K/10K finish line, on the field of Trinity Health Stadium. | ||||||
