We're looking forward to celebrating Global Running Day in a first-of-its-kind challenge to conquer as many Connecticut streets, towns and miles as possible in one week!

Congratulations, you've already completed the first step by registering for the challenge. If you have not already, please make sure you complete the remaining steps so you can get started tracking your activities and monitoring your progress.

  • Select Initial Setup preferences and hit “Let’s Do This” to continue.
CONNECT TO WE RUN CT
  • Enter the unique access code from your Hartford Marathon Foundation registration confirmation email/message to complete the process of connecting to the We Run CT CityStrides tracker.

GET AFTER IT!

  • CityStrides technology is available year round, but only your activities recorded during the week-long window will feed into the Challenge.

QUESTIONS? For additional help getting started and details on how to record your run or walk check out the We Run CT ToolKit.

At HMF and CityStrides, we understand that the We Run CT Challenge might feel a bit complex, but what might make it complex, makes this challenge so special! Questions such as "How Do I Complete a Street" are included in the full list of Frequently Asked Questions.

How Do I Complete a Street?
Every street in CityStrides is broken up into a certain number of nodes (or checkpoints) depending on how long it may be. In order to finish a street, you must run or walk past each one of these nodes before it is marked as completed.
See how many Connecticut streets, town and miles you've completed and how you rank compared to other participants in the We Run CT Challenge by checking out the LEADERBOARD on a regular basis during the week.

Add to your We Run CT experience with a custom designed trucker hat.

Available for purchase in the HMF Shop or in your participant account. Pick-up on June 7 at the UConn Health Half Marathon, 10K & 5K. Hats not picked up will be mailed after the event.

The charity partner for this event is Connecticut Foodshare. A portion of every We Run CT registration will be donated to their cause, but please consider making an additional donation. Support the shared vision to have a thriving community, free of hunger.
We hope you have fun exploring Connecticut! Good luck!
