If you ordered Mail My Packet, your race bib and short sleeve technical race shirt were mailed to you. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent with questions or if you did not receive your bib in the mail.
If you did not order Mail My Packet, you can reduce pre-race stress by picking up your bib and race shirt before race day! On Thursday in Glastonbury - receive 10% off in-store purchases at Fleet Feet during your visit (excluding sale items). We encourage picking up for others! Saturday, September 12: 3:00 - 5:00 PM, Grey Sail Brewing, 63 Canal Street, Westerly, RI. Race Day: 6:00 – 7:00 AM, Misquamicut State Beach, 257 Atlantic Avenue, Westerly, RI.

Your short sleeve technical shirt will be available for pick up at the T-shirt tent before the event - you may only pick up the size selected in your race registration. Shirt sizes are limited and exchanges will be available after the finish on a first-come, first-served basis in the HMF Merchandise tent.
Relay Teams: Please designate one relay team member to pick up race packets for the entire group. The team is responsible for distributing bibs to each member and ensuring the runner crossing the finish line is wearing the timing chip. Relay Team Instructions

Pre/post race activities and the start/finish areas will be in and around Wuskenau Town Beach and at the east end of the Misquamicut State Beach, in Westerly.
Arrive early! It is strongly recommended to arrive by 6:30 AM. Atlantic Avenue will close to traffic at 7:00 am.
HMF provides FREE parking to all athletes at Misquamicut State Beach. Please follow directions of volunteers and signs to access the free parking area. Other parking lots are available that will charge a fee. 5K participants cannot exit Misquamicut State Beach parking area before 9:00 AM. |

Both race starts will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.
Half Marathon and Relay The start horn will go off at 7:30 am (10 minutes before the 5K). The Half Marathon will start at the east end of Misquamicut State Beach, on Atlantic Avenue.

Half Marathon course info & MAP: Course limit is 3 hours for the Surftown Half. To finish within these time limits, participants must maintain a pace of approximately 13:44 minutes per mile.
5K The start horn will go off at 7:40 am (10 minutes after the Half Marathon). The 5K will start and finish under the Finish Truss on Atlantic Avenue, just east of Misquamicut State Beach. 5K course info & MAP: Walkers welcome! Course limit is 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Surftown 5K. To finish within these time limits 5K participants must maintain a pace of approximately 26 minutes per mile. Markings & Amenities:
- Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns
- All mile points are marked on the road and with signs
- Clocks at finish line and along the course
- 5K Hydration (Water only) - one location on the course
- Half Marathon Hydration (Water & UCAN Hydrate)
- Pre/Post Race & every 1 to 2 miles along the course (water only at the first hydration station)

Respect the roads and each other, and please do not litter in the gracious community hosting us. Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel. |

Surftown Half Marathon & 5K, presented by Westerly Hospital, is the first event in the Tri-State Triple, followed by Hartford on 10/10 and Western Mass on 11/1. Participants who sign up for all three events by Friday, 9/11, can pick up their special mug and race stickers at the HMF Merchandise Tent on race day. | |

POST RACE PARTY: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Misquamicut State Beach. Delicious chowder served up fresh by Flanders Fish Market and grab & go snacks featuring Uncle Crumbles granola and Lesser Evil. Complimentary ice-cold beer from Grey Sail Brewing (21+ w/ID only). The Beer Garden is located in the parking lot of Wuskenau Beach, adjacent to the finish line.
5K Award Ceremony: 8:45 AM Half Marathon Award Ceremony: 9:45 AM Preliminary results will be available onsite. This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system with timing chip attached to the back of the race bib. Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish). Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS |
