Location: West Hartford Town Hall, West Hartford, CT If you registered on or before Sunday, December 1, your bib was mailed to you. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent if you have questions or did not receive your bib in the mail. If you registered after Sunday, December 1, pick up your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent on race day from 8:30 – 9:30 AM in the Town Hall Parking Lot. To speed up your pickup, download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. Sign into your participant account to access your pass. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. | ||||||
Your holiday inspired mittens will be available for pick up at the Swag tent before and after the race. Please note: No baggage check available on race day. | ||||||
Pre-race activities will take place on the lawn, east of the West Hartford Town Hall, with the race starting on the adjacent Burr Street. The finish line and post race festivities will take place in the heart of Blue Back Square on Isham Road. Directions Street parking and garage parking is available in West Hartford. The 5K course starts on Burr Street and ends on Isham Road near the gazebo in Blue Back Square. The course is a single loop along the residential streets of West Hartford with a mixture of flats and rolling hills. Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel. Markings & Amenities:
5K Course Info & Map: Walkers welcome! Course limit is 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Blue Back Mitten Run. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 27 minutes per mile. Respect the roads and each other, and please do not litter in the gracious community hosting us. | ||||||
10:45 AM – 12:00 PM: Registered participants can enjoy delicious holiday cookies at the Post Race Party in the Blue Back Square Gazebo on Isham Road. 11:30 AM: Award Ceremony Preliminary results will be available onsite. This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system with a timing chip attached to the back of the race bib. Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish). Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS | ||||||

Online kids' race registration is available through race morning, with on-site registration and bib pickup at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent. Kids aged 2-11 can run 1/2 mile or one mile races, all kids races are $12. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a custom knit beanie. All kids' races start at the 5K Start line on Burr Street and end on Isham Road near the gazebo at the 5K Finish Line in Blue Back Square. | ||||||
