If you registered on or before Sunday, March 9, your bib was sent to you on Monday, March 10 in a business sized envelope. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent if you did not receive your bib or if you have questions. If you registered after Sunday, March 9, get your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. The tent is located at Niantic Bay Bicycles, 8 Methodist Street. To speed up your bib pick-up experience, log in to your haku participant account and download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. | ||||||
Your Irish themed knit mittens will be available for pick up at the Swag tent before or after the event. Please note: No baggage check available on race day. | ||||||
Parking is available in the municipal lots located off Hope Street and along Main Street in downtown Niantic. Details | ||||||
The race will start on Hope Street, west of Methodist Street and will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing. Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel. Markings & Amenities:
Respect the roads and each other, and please do not litter in the gracious community hosting us. 5K COURSE MAP Walkers welcome! Course limit is 1 hour and 20 minutes for the O’ Niantic 5K. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 27 minutes per mile. | ||||||

POST RACE PARTY 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Methodist Street at race finish. Registered participants can enjoy Flanders Bake Shop donuts and Grab & Go snacks featuring Uncle Crumbles granola and Lesser Evil. BEER GARDEN 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Five Churches by the Bay, 215 Main Street, located about 2 blocks east of the race finish. One free beer per participant for those 21+ years of age with proper ID. AWARD CEREMONY 10:45 AM: Five Churches by the Bay Preliminary results will be available onsite. This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system with timing chip attached to the back of the race bib. Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish). Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS | ||||||

Online kids' race registration is available through race morning, with on-site registration and bib pickup at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent. Kids aged 2-11 can run ¼ mile, ½ mile or 1 mile races, all kids races are $12. All participants receive a finisher's medal and custom beanie. All HMF FitKids Runs will start and finish at the 5K Finish line on Methodist Street. | ||||||
