6:00 AM – 7:00 AM, Gay City State Park, Hebron, CT
Pick up your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up Tent on race day. To speed up your pickup, download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. Sign into your participant account to access your pass. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. 
Your custom designed performance socks will be available for pick up at the Swag Tent before or after the event. 

Please note: No baggage check available on race day.

All participants must be at the start area prior to the first wave starting. 
Access to Gay City Park Road will close 15 minutes prior to race start.

Pre/post race activities, as well as the start and finish line will take place in the upper athletic fields of Gay City State Park. Directions

Parking in Gay City State Park is extremely limited, please do your part and carpool if possible. For those coming from points north and west, there is a commuter lot located near Exit 7 off i-384 in Bolton, 10 minutes from the park.

*As designated parking areas fill, volunteers and staff will direct participants to other available options
There will be 3 starting waves. Each registrant will be assigned a wave based on the estimated finish time provided during registration. Wave assignments will be assigned by noon on June 20 and can be found in your participant account and on your check-in pass.
 
  • All participant bibs will have a specific start corral indicated on the bib - you MUST start in this corral. 
  • All participants are required to be at the race start area prior to the start of the first wave at 7:30 AM. 
  • Signage and announcements will help direct you to the proper staging area.  
3 Mile Course:
The 3 Mile will start with the 5 Mile and the 8 Mile in the upper athletic fields of Gay City State Park. All three races will run together for the first 2 miles.

Course Limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes for the 3 Mile Course. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 30 minutes per mile. Walkers and hikers welcome!

  • No on-course hydration will be provided. Participants are encouraged to carry their own fluids.
  • Pre/Post Race Hydration (Water & UCAN Hydrate)

5 Mile Course: 
2025 REDESIGN: The 5 Mile will start with the 3 Mile and the 8 Mile in the upper athletic fields of Gay City State Park. All three races will run together for the first 2 miles, at which point the 5 Mile will continue with the 8 Mile for roughly 4.9 miles.

8 Mile Course:
2025 REDESIGN: The 8 Mile will start with the 3 Mile and the 5 Mile in the upper athletic fields of Gay City State Park. All three races will run together for the first 2 miles, at which point the 8 Mile will continue with the 5 Mile for roughly 4.9 miles.

Course limit is 2 hours and 24 minutes for the 8 Mile Course. Course limit is based on the end of the race start window. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 18 minutes per mile. Participants that do not pass the 5 Mile checkpoint by 1 hour and 30 minutes, will be directed to finish the race and will be moved to the 5 Mile results.

Upper Athletic Fields, Gay City State Park
Celebrate your amazing accomplishments together with bagels, fresh fruit and Grab & Go snacks featuring Uncle Crumbles and Lesser Evil

9:15 AM: 3 Mile & 5 Mile Award Ceremony
9:30 AM: 8 Mile Award Ceremony

Preliminary results will be available onsite. This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system with timing chip attached to the back of the race bib. Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish). Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS
