DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME STARTS SUNDAY MARCH 9. REMEMBER TO SET YOUR CLOCKS AHEAD ONE HOUR!
 
If you registered on or before Sunday, March 2, your bib was sent to you in a business sized envelope. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent if you did not receive your bib or if you have questions. 

If you registered after Sunday, March 2, get your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent. The tent is located at the Putnam municipal parking lot near Canal Street and is open 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

To speed up your bib pick-up experience, log in to your haku participant account and download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. 
Your St. Paddy's travel mug will be available for pick up at the Swag tent before or after the event.
Please note: No baggage check available on race day.

There is plenty of parking located throughout downtown Putnam and along the Putnam River Trail. DETAILS

The race will start on Canal Street, adjacent to the commuter parking lot and will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.

Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel.

Markings & Amenities: 

  • Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns
  • All mile points are marked on the road and with signs
  • Clocks at finish line and along the course
  • Hydration - Pre/Post Race & Mile 1.5
  • Medical personnel on site
  • Event alert system notifications in the pre-race area and at the water station

Walkers welcome! Course limit is 1 hour and 20 minutes for the Courthouse O’ Putnam 5K. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 27 minutes per mile.

Remember your St. Patrick's Day with a custom hoodie, crew sweatshirt, long sleeve technical shirt or long sleeve cotton shirt. Shop in-person or get pre-orders at the HMF Merchandise tent on race day (credit cards or Apple Pay only, no cash accepted).

 
1:15  2:30 PM  Courthouse Bar & Grille, 121 Main Street, Putnam, CT

Registered participants can enjoy complimentary corned beef sandwiches from The Courthouse Bar & Grille, Grab & Go snacks featuring Uncle Crumbles Granola and Lesser Evil. Plus, one complimentary Sam Adams craft beer for those 21+ years of age with proper ID.

Preliminary results will be available onsite.
 This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system with timing chip attached to the back of the race bib. Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish). Final results will be posted later in the day.

Online kids' race registration is available through race morning, with on-site registration and bib pickup at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent. Kids aged 2-11 can run ¼ mile or ½ mile races, all kids races are $12. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a warm knit beanie. 

All HMF FitKids races will start and finish at the 5K Start line on Canal Street.
Take on the four-race Lucky Challenge in two weekends OR join the NEW Li'l Lucky two-race challenge, selecting any two of the events that work best. Participants enjoying all four races will earn a two-part connecting Lucky Challenge medal and those in the Li'l Lucky will earn one blingy finisher medal for their efforts. 
Medals may be picked up at any O'race in the Merchandise tent.
