Thank you for participating with us this Sunday, May 3, at the Burlington to Collinsville Classic 10K. Please review important details below on everything needed, from logistics to perks, to make it a great race day.  NOTE: Due to ongoing trail construction, the trail will be compressed stone between miles 3 and 4.
Race Start:
8:30 AM: Lake Garda Elementary School, Burlington, CT

If you registered on or before Sunday, April 26, your bib was mailed out to you on Monday, April 27, in a business sized envelope. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent at the Canton Town Hall in Collinsville between 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM on race day if you did not receive your bib or have questions. Bibs will NOT be available at the start in Burlington on race morning.

If you registered after Sunday, April 26, get your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent at the Canton Town Hall in Collinsville between 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM on race day. Bibs will NOT be available at the start in Burlington on race morning.

To speed up your bib pick-up experience, log in to your haku participant account and download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. 
Your event shirt will be available for pick up at the Shirt tent after the race in Collinsville.

Baggage Check: 
Complimentary baggage check will be available for all registered participants in the Race Start area in Burlington. All bags must be checked by 8:15 AM. Checked bags will be transported to the Finish Line area in Collinsville for pickup at the Post Race Party.

Pre/post race activities, shuttle bus services, as well as the race finish take place in and around Canton Town Hall, Collinsville, Connecticut – the start line is located at Lake Garda Elementary School, in Burlington, Connecticut.

Many parking lots in Collinsville have been secured free of charge for race participants. However, parking is limited, please arrive early and give yourself plenty of time. You can also park in Burlington and get a ride back to your car after the race. DETAILS

BUS TRANSPORTATION:
Complimentary shuttle bus transportation between the Finish Area (Collinsville) and Start Area (Burlington) is available on race day for all registered participants. Both pre & post-race bus loading will take place in the same location, on Bridge Street, east of Canton Town Hall.

TIMING:
6:30 AM – 7:45 AM: Pre-race service from Collinsville to Burlington
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Post-race service back to Burlington

Note: All participants must show RACE BIB to ride the bus.

The race start will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.

The race will start adjacent to Lake Garda Elementary School in Burlington, on Monce Road, heading north.

Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel.

Markings & Amenities: 

  • Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns
  • All mile points are marked on the road and with signs
  • Clocks at finish line and along the course
  • Hydration: Water & UCAN Hydrate
    • Pre/Post race & miles 2.5 & 4
  • Medical personnel on site
  • Event alert system notifications in the pre-race area and at the water station

10K Course Map

Course limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 14:30 minutes per mile.

Respect the roads and each other, and please do not litter in the gracious community hosting us.

Please bring nonperishable food donations to the HMF Can tent to benefit the Canton Food Bank. HMF Can is supported by Stop & Shop to help alleviate food insecurity in communities.

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Canton Town Hall, Collinsville
Registered participants enjoy delicious chili from Lisa’s Crown & Hammer, fresh fruit and snacks, including Uncle Crumbles Granola and Lesser Evil. Enjoy breakfast at Lisa's opening early at 9 AM with drink specials by showing your bib. 

9:45 AM: Awards ceremony
Preliminary results are available onsite/online in real time and are based on NET time (timing mats at the start and finish) by Bay State Race Services using the B-Tag timing system. Please wear your race bib with timing chip on the front of your shirt. Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS
