Burlington, CT to Collinsville, CT


10K start: 8:30 AM

Burlington to Collinsville Classic
if you registered by April 28, your race bib was mailed to you. Only go to the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent if you do not receive your bib in the mail or have questions.

If you registered after April 28, pick up your race bib at the Registration & Bib Pick-up tent between 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM, Canton Town Hall, Collinsville. To speed up your bib pick-up experience, log in to your haku participant account and download or print your own unique Check-in Pass before you get in line. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. 

NOTE: Bibs will NOT be available at the start in Burlington on race morning.

Your short sleeve technical race shirt will be available for pick up at the SWAG tent after the race in Collinsville only.

BAGGAGE CHECK:
Complimentary baggage check will be available for all registered participants in the Race Start area in Burlington. All bags must be checked by 8:15 AM. Checked bags will be transported to the Finish Line area in Collinsville for pickup at the Post Race Party.

Many parking lots in Collinsville have been secured free of charge for race participants. However, parking is limited, please arrive early and give yourself plenty of time. You can also park in Burlington and get a ride back to your car after the race. Directions

BUS TRANSPORTATION:
Complimentary shuttle bus transportation between the Finish Area (Collinsville) and Start Area (Burlington) is available on race day for all registered participants. Both pre & post-race bus loading will take place in the same location, on Bridge Street, east of Canton Town Hall.

TIMING:
6:30 AM – 7:45 AM: Pre-race service from Collinsville to Burlington.
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Post-race service back to Burlington.

Note: All participants must show RACE BIB to ride the bus.

The race will start adjacent to Lake Garda Elementary School in Burlington, on Monce Road, heading north. It will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing.

Police and course monitors will be on the course. However, the roads are open to local vehicle travel. Markings & Amenities: 

  • Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns
  • All mile points are marked on the road and with signs
  • Clocks at finish line and along the course
  • Hydration (Water and Nuun Sport) - Pre/Post Race & Miles 2.5 and 4
  • Medical personnel on site
  • Event alert system notifications in the pre-race area and at the water station

Course limit is 1 hour and 30 minutes for the Burlington To Collinsville Classic 10K. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 14:30 minutes per mile. 

Respect the roads and each other, and please do not litter in the gracious community hosting us.

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Canton Town Hall, Collinsville
Celebrate your amazing accomplishments together with music, delicious chili from Lisa’s Crown & Hammer, and Grab & Go snacks featuring Bakery On Main and Lesser Evil.

10:00 AM Awards ceremony and HMF Can raffle drawing.
Please bring nonperishable food donations to the HMF Can tent near Canton Town Hall (finish area) to benefit the Canton Food Bank. HMF Can is supported by Stop & Shop to help alleviate food insecurity in communities.

You'll complete race one with your Burlington to Collinsville finish! Enjoy some extra motivation through the season with three race finishes in this new challenge.

Sign up for the Riverfront 5K on June 27 and either distance at the Old Wethersfield 5K & 10K on August 18 to earn the special finisher medal.
