Mystic Half Marathon & 10K
Time change reminder! Clocks fall back an hour this Sunday, November 5. Set your clocks back before going to bed Saturday night.

Due to road construction, there will be metal plates across a small portion of Boltwood Avenue at about 1.2 miles into the race. The area will be marked by cones to alert runners.  
RACE BIB & SWAG PICKUP:
Race Day: 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM, Union Station, Railroad Avenue, Northampton.

If you registered by Sunday, October 29, your bib was mailed to you. If you did not receive your bib in the mail, a duplicate will be provided to you at the Registration & Bib Pick-up Tent in Northampton on race morning.

If you registered after October 29, download or print out your own unique Check-In Pass before you get in line. Log in to your haku participant account. The pass can be downloaded and saved in your phone images or Apple Wallet, or printed out. Then visit the Registration & Bib Pick-up Tent to get your race bib.
Your long sleeve technical race shirt will be available for pick up at the Shirt Tent after the event at the post-race party in Northampton.

ATHLETE SHUTTLE BUSES:
Before race start, participants may park at the finish line area in Northampton and take the free shuttle bus to get to start area in Amherst - there is NO bus provided after the race! DETAILS

BAGGAGE CHECK: 

  • Complimentary baggage check will be available for registered participants in the Race Start area (Amherst).
  • All bags must be checked by 8:15 AM. 
  • Checked bags will be transported to the Finish Line area for pickup at the Post Race Party (Northampton). 
RACE COURSE & SUPPORT:
The race start will consist of one corral with “Self Seed” pace per mile signs to assist with participant spacing. Timing mats located at the start will capture your net time.

Course limit is 2 hours and 20 minutes. To finish within these time limits you must maintain a pace of approximately 14:00 minutes per mile. 


MARKINGS:

  • Yellow signs with blue arrows mark all turns.
  • All mile points are marked on the road/trail and with signs
  • Timing mats at finish line and mile 5
  • Clocks at finish line and mile 5

PACE TEAMS:
FREE ProHealth Physicians Pace Teams will be available to help athletes achieve their goal times. Pacers will meet in the starting area at 8:15 AM. No registration necessary. MORE DETAILS
POST RACE:
9:30 AM – 11:00 AM: The Deck Bar @ Union Station, Northampton

Celebrate your amazing accomplishments together with music, delicious chili from the Deck Bar, ice cold beer from Sam Adams (21+), and Grab & Go snacks featuring Bakery On Main granola and LesserEvil popcorn.

10:30 AM: Award Ceremony

TIMING / RESULTS / AWARDS:
This event is timed by Bay State Race Services and uses the B-Tag timing system (timing chip is attached to the back of the race bib). Please wear the race bib on the front of the shirt. All times are based on NET time (timing mats located at the start and finish).

Preliminary results will be available onsite. Final results will be posted later in the day. RESULTS

Girls on the Run Western MA inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using fun, experience-based curricula that creatively integrates running. The program culminates with girls doing a community service project and completing a celebratory, non-competitive 5K event. All contributions go towards ensuring anyone that wants to participate is able regardless of their financial ability.
